Possibly the Last Surviving Plymouth Arrow?
So in order to fix my relatively rare 1985 Honda VF1000R I had to make 2 trips out to Duarte, CA to visit Flanders, who still make custom cables for motorcycle throttles. While out in sleepy, dusty Duarte I spotted this ahead of me on the road.
Could it be? Was it possible? Yes, I do believe I was behind the nicest remaining example of a 1978 Plymouth Arrow.
The Arrow was a “captive import” that was rushed to marked by mother Mopar to meet the second oil crisis. Its actually a thinly veiled Mitsubishi Lancer Celeste. It was good enough for Don Prudhomme.
Sorry I couldn’t get a better picture. This is truly an automotive unicorn, a very nice condition old car that its hard to believe anyone would consider collectible.
