Just Can’t Beat the Classics
If you, like me, never graduated from the ball peen hammer, Bondo and rattle can primer school of auto body repair, you are not alone. In my writing for Eastwood and visit to the SEMA show I discovered this classic how to manual on shaping metal called The Key to Metal Bumping by Martin Tool and Forge.
Many, many books have been written since this one was first published in the days before WWII, but why not start with the book that taught the guys that wrote all the other books? Hopefully this and the fact that Harbor Freight just opened a new store literally 2 miles from my house will speed the 1960 Chevy Parkwood back to the streets
