Jump Like a Gazelle – Update

Back in June of 2011 I spotted this off-road ready Mercedes Benz Gazelle replica kit car in the parking lot of the junk yard.   Well, today I saw it cruising down the street and it appears to have sprouted a full off road spec roll cage since the last time I saw it.

Pile of the Week: Hondatsun Pick-up Trike

Not a hell of a lot of information on this one, but lets go from what we can see. It looks like a 1st generation Honda Goldwing GL1000 front end, welded to a modified 70s Toyota pick up truck, powered by what looks to be a GM 2.8 FWD 60 degree V6 driver train from […]

Cowboy Cadillac – Craigslist Find

I can’t take credit for this it was tweeted, and on the BCAS earlier today, but here is is in all its glory a Cowboy Cadillac that seems to have driven thru the J.C.Whitney warehouse attracting accessories. I’m going to start with my favorite picture because it is the wrongest of them all. Despite what […]

Home Brewed Wagon Queen Family Truckster

Fog lights, reflectors, hood scoop, chrome edge guards, body kit, vent-o-ports, sunroof wind deflector (though who knows if there is even a sunroof), and stickers, stickers, stickers. I suppose its like plastic surgery, […]

Vintage Japanese Cars Starting to Get Respect

Its nice to finally see some interesting early Japanese imports start to get some respect among car hobbyists. I did shoot this neat Toyota Starlet last year, and now 3 more. My buddy Rob used to own one of these and I know from experience they are loud, crude and worse at truck stuff then […]

1995 Ford Ranchero Prototype?

Who knew Ford was considering a modern version of the Ranchero in 1995? Or would it be a new Durango (The Durango was a limited production Fairmont Futura based truck circa 1978) ? Naw, surely Ford, or anyone with half a brain would have figured out how to remove the rear quarter windows, instead of […]
